Avon, Indiana
Incorporated in 1995, the Town of Avon is located five miles west of Indianapolis in Hendricks County and is ten minutes away from Indianapolis International Airport.
Avon is the only Tree City USA Community in Hendricks County and prides itself in the preservation of the natural environment.
Avon has a rich musical tradition that includes two national championships for the Avon High School Marching band. Avon is also the home of the Hendricks Symphony and Choir and musician Natalie Walker got her start as a AHS music student. Ms. Walker's music has been on Grey's Anatomy and Ugly Betty.
